Full Day of Philly

We had a great day touring Philadelphia by car, taxi, train and bus.

We traveled by commuter rail line from Hatboro

to the center of town.

We saw all the attractions from the Liberty Bell

and Independence Hall, to Penn Landing (roller skating!), an Afghanistan restaurant, and of course, Cheesesteaks for lunch.

We rode the double decker bus for a full tour first, saw Chinatown,

then had lunch

before visiting some historic sites. We toured the US Mint, had a tour of Independence Hall (got rained on in line)

and then headed to restaurant row for dinner. We had Afghanistan food and enjoyed it!

We had some delicious ice cream and walked towards the river, where a summerfest was in progress

with an outdoor movie, roller skating,

a beer garden, and ferris wheel.

We walked and then got a taxi back to the train station, and drove to the Days Inn at 11:30.
