North by Northeast

We slept in a little after our late night in Philly.
The trip through rural and suburban PA, northern NJ and the "southern tier" of NY was uneventful and traffic free. Sarah paid her first toll!
We found a great deli and grill and had a nice lunch and had no trouble at all until we got to Albany NY.
The traffic became bumper to bumper and very slow moving, so we got off the highway and made our way through back roads through small towns along the Hudson River. Very pretty drive, though it added 40 minutes to the trip.
We got to the Glenmoore Lodge about 5 and had time for a swim before heading out for dinner (Mr. B's Roast Beef Sandwiches), some grocery shopping, and our first trip to Martha's Dandee Creme. We met brother Chis and his wife Beth, and Dad and his girlfriend Joyce.
In all its glory!
A nice gathering and great flavors. Guess who had what:

Raspberry/Chocolate swirl/chocolate sprinkles
Vanilla with Rainbow sprinkles
Chocolate/vanilla twist
Nothing

If you guessed Doug,Sarah, Sam, Amy you were correct!

Tomorrow we are going on a boat ride with cousin Fred and Uncle Bill, and then cooking out in the pavilion by the beautiful Hudson River. Check back then!
